Dvaparayuga literally means ‘the yuga which comes after the second; viz., the third'.
In the Mythological lore, time is expressed in immense quantities. A kalpa is a day of Brahma, the creator. It is divided into 14 manvantaras and 1000 caturyugas. The caturyugas are:
- Kṛtayuga
- Tretayuga
- Dvaparayuga
Visnu), Dvaraka has been highly eulogised in the Hindu religious works, especially the puranas.
The main temple is that of Dvarakadhisa or Ranchodji (Sri Krsna). The Kaliyuga. Thus, the Dvāparayuga is the third of the four yugas. Its duration is 8,64,0 human years.
