We examine the impact of the current colonial-racist discourse around Hindu Dharma on Indians across the world and prove that this discourse causes psychological effects similar to those caused by racism: shame, inferiority, embarrassment, identity confusion, assimilation, and a detachment from our cultural heritage.

One who is divine joy, One who is full of interest, One who is merciful, one who gives,

I am verymuch suffering oh merciful one, grant me protection at your feet,

मणिमय भवन निवासी, अति भोगी, रागी ।

छाल, कपाल, गरल, गल, मुंडमाल व्याली । 
चिताभस्म तन, त्रिनयन, अयन महाकाली ॥६॥ हर हर०
प्रेत-पिशाच, सुसेवित पीत जटाधारी । 
विवसन, विकट रूपधर, रुद्र प्रलयकारी ॥७॥ हर हर०
शुभ्र, सौम्य, सुरसरिधर, शशिधर, सुखकारी । 
अतिकमनीय, शान्तिकर शिव मुनि मन हारी ॥८॥ हर हर०
निर्गुण, सगुण, निरंजन, जगमय नित्य प्रभो । 
कालरूप केवल, हर ! कालातीत विभो ॥९॥ हर हर०
सत-चित-आनँद, रसमय, करुणामय, धाता ।
