- a great sahajiyā saint, mystic and spiritual leader and social reformer of Bengal, (CE 1486 – 1534), born as Viśvambhar Miśra, and also known as Nimai, Gourāńga, Gouracandra and Mahāprabhu, whose six primary successors are regarded as the founder of the Gauŕīya (Bengali) school of Vaişņavism and who is regarded as the propagator of the Acintya-bhedābheda (inconceivable simultaneous oneness and difference) school of philosophy.
