Rajadhi Raja rathi raja satha lavanya,
Pooja japamula vela ponduka nedhuda,
Rajilli lokantharanga marmamu thelipee,
Rajiseyani Thyagaraja sannutha neethu.

English Translation

Pallavi

Hey Son of Dasaratha without your kindness,
What is the use of this life.

Anupallavi

Even though we live hundred years,
What is the use of this life.

Charanam

King of kings who is hundred times,
Prettier than the God of love,
You came before me , when I was doing worship,
And told me about secrets of life of this world,
And consoled me , the Thyagaraja.
