Haihaya

Haihaya is the name of an ancient dynasty with its capital at Māhiṣmatī. The most celebrated ruler of this dynasty was Kārtavīryārjuna,[1] who had ‘one thousand arms’. The southern Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh has been identified as the ancient Māhiṣmatī city.
