Oriental Manuscripts Library

It started in A. D. 1911 as a department of the Government of Travancore. It was amalgamated with the Manuscripts Library of the Kerala University in A. D. 1940. It has a collection of over 50,000 manuscripts in Sanskrit, Malayālam and other languages. It is publishing two journals. They are:

  1. Journal of the Kerala University Oriental Manuscripts Library in Sanskrit
  2. Bhāsātraimāsikam in Malayālam

The Library has also published books on Astronomy, Indian Music and other similar subjects.
