Jaani Gauri aanakool, seeye heeye harshi nadu kahi. Manjul mangal mool, baag ang pharkan lag
Understanding that Goddess Gowri was on her part,
Sita’s mind was filled with joy,
And due to the auspicious events likely to come,
The left side of her body started twitching.
Shri Raghubir bhagat hitkari, suni lije prabhu araj hamari, Nisidin dhyan dhare jo koi, ta sam bhakt aur nahi hoi, Dhyan dhare shivji man mahi, brahma indra par nahi pahi, Jai jai jai raghunath kripala, sada karo santan pratipala.
Oh Lord Raghuvir who looks after devotees, be pleased to hear our appeal,
Any one who meditates on you day and night, No devotee is comparable to him,
He who meditate on Shiva in his mind, would not get Indra or Brahma,
Hail, hail, Merciful lord of Raghus, always please look after your children.
Doot tumhar veer hanumana, jasu prabhav tihu pur jana, Tuv bhujdand prachand kripala, ravan mari suarn pratipala, Tum anadh ke nath gosai, deenan ke ho sada sahai, Bramhadik tav par na paven, sada eesh tumharo yash gave.
Your messenger the heroic Hanuman, whose greatness is known to the three worlds,
Oh merciful one your are very huge, using which you killed Rakshasas like Ravana,
Like a shepard to the sheep you are the lord of orphans and you always help the oppressed,
Brahma and others are not comparable to you and always they sing your fame
Chariu ved bharat hai sakhi, tum bhaktan ki lajja rakhi, Gun gavat sharad man mahi, surpati tako par na pahi, Nam tumhare let jo koi, ta sam dhanya aur nahi hoi, Ram naam hai aparampara, charin ved jahi pukara.
The four Vedas assure us that you protect dignity of your devotees,
The Shard sings your greatness in his mind and even king of devas is not comparable to you,
If any one takes your name in his mind, no one can be compared to him,
The name of Rama is extraordinary and the four Vedas shout about this fact
Ganpati naam tumharo linho, tinko pratham pujya tum kinho, Shesh ratat nit naam tumhara, mahi ko bhar shish par dhara, Phool saman rahat so bhara, pavat kou na tumharo para, Bharat naam tumharo ur dharo, taso kabahu na ran mein haro.
Lord Ganeshaha chants your name as you have made him to be worshipped first,
Adhi sesha repeats your name continuously, for you take the burden of earth from him,
As it weighs just like a flower to you and no one stand in comparison with you,
Bharath took your name to his heart and he was never defeated in any war.
Naam shatrugna hridaya prakasha, sumirat hot shatru kar nasha, Lakhan tumhare agyakari, sada karat santan rakhwari, Tathe ran jeete nahi koi, yuddh jure yamahu kin hoi, Mahalakshmi dhar avtara, sab vidhi karat paap ko chhara.
Shatrugna made your name shine in his heart and with ease he defeated all his enemies,
Lakshmana obeyed all your wishes and you looked after him like your child,
No one could win a war with him, as in the war he was God of death to his enemies,
Mahalaksahmi took an incarnation in earth and by following all Dharma, destroyed all sins.
Seeta ram puneeta gayo, bhuvaneshwari prabhav dikhayo, Ghat so prakat bhai so aai, jako dehkat chand lajai, So tumhare nit paon palotat, navo nidhi charanan mein lotat, Siddhi athahum mangalkari, so tum par jave balihari.
Sita sang the divine name of Rama and showed her power as Goddess earth,
And she arose from a pot and seeing her the moon was shy,
And he who touches your feet regularly gets nine type of treasures from you,
All the eight auspicious powers, surrender themselves to you.
Aurahu jo anek prabhutai, so seetapati tumahi banai, Ichchha te kotin sansara, rachat na lagat pal ki bhara, Jo tumhare charanan chit lave, taki mukti avasi ho jave, Sunahu ram tum tat hamare, tumahi bharat kul poojya prachare.
Though there are other lords like you, Sita chose you as her lord,
Though there are crores of desires in the world, you are the one who decides which to fulfil,
Those who keep their mind at your feet, To them salvation will become easy,
Oh Lord Rama please hear you are ours and entire India will worship you
Tumahi dev kul dev hamare, tum gurudev pran ke pyare, Jo kuch ho so tumhahi raja, jai jai jai prabhu rakho laja, Ram atma poshan hare, jai jai jai dasrath ke pyare, Jai jai jai prabhu jyoti swarupa, nirgun brahma akhand anoopa.
You yourself are our auspecios clan God, you are our Guru, who is as dear to us as our soul,
Whosoever may be there, you are our king, Hail hail lord, please keep this in your mind,
Oh Rama you nurture oursouls, Hail, hail, hail, darling of Dasaratha,
Hai,hail hail Oh Lord who has a lustrous form, you are God without properties, who is limitless and beyond value
Satya satya jai satyavrat swami, satya sanatan antaryami, Satya bhajan tumharo jo gave, So nischay charon phal pave, Satya sapath gauripati kinhi, tumne bhaktahi sab siddhi dinhi, Gyan hridaya do gyanswarupa, namo namo jai jagpati bhoopa.
Truth, truth oh Lord whose penance is truth, who is truly birthless and within all of us,
We sing the truth about you so that definitely we will get all the four benefits,
The husband of Gauri took an oath, you would give everything to your devotees,
Oh Lord with form of wisdom, grant us wisdom in heart, Salutation and salutations oh king of universe
Dhanya dhanya tum dhanya pratapa, naam tumhar harat sntapa, Satya shudh deva mukh gaya, baji dundubhi shankh bajaya, Satya satya tum satya sanatan, tumahi ho hamare tan man dhan, Yako path kare jo koi, gyan prakat take ur hoi.
You are blessed, blessed with blessed fame, Your name will be there forever,
The true pure devas sang and the drum and conch were played by Dhundhubhi,
Truth truth, you are truly forever, you only are our body, soul and wealth,
Those who memorize these, would be able exhibit their wisdom.
Avagaman mitai tihi kera, satya vachan mane shiv mera, Aur aas man mein jo hoi, manvanchit phal pave soi, Teenahu kal dhyan jo lave, tulsidas anu phool chadhave, Saag patra so bhog lagave, so nar sakal siddhata pave.
You would be able tro avoid circle of birth and death are the true words of Shiva,
And all the desires that are in your mind, would lead to results that you wish,
And those who remember the Lord three times and offer him thulasi leaves and other flowers,
As well other green leaves, would earn all type of powers.
Aant samay raghubarpur jai, jaha janma haribhakta kai, Shri haridas kahai aru gave, so vaikunth dham ko pave.
And at the end, he will go to place of Rama and would be called as devotee of Hari,
And Sri Haridas says, those who sing this will reach Vaikuta
Saat divas jo nem kar, path kare chit laye, Haridas harikripa se, avasi bhakti ko pave. Ram chalisa jo padhe, ram sharan chit laye, Jo ichchha man mein kare, sakal siddh ho jaye.
Those who for seven days bring this to the mind according to rules,
By the mercy of Lord Hari would definitely get devotion,
And those who read these Rama firty and bring the surrender to Rama in their mind,
Whatever desire they have in mind would be fulfilled
