In addition to creating the material Universe, Bhagavān also reveals the Vedas.

As from a lighted fire laid with damp fuel, various clouds of smoke issue forth, even so, my dear, the Ṛgveda, the Yajurveda, the Sāmaveda, Atharvāṅgiras, Itihāsa, Purāṇa, vidyā, Upaniṣad-s, verses, aphorisms, explanations, and commentaries—from this, indeed, are all these breathed forth. Yajurveda, Bṛhadāraṇyaka Upaniṣad 2.4.10

Vedāntic texts describe all knowledge as proceeding from the Supreme, who is regarded as all-wise and all-knowing. Traditional belief holds that the Vedas were revealed to the ṛṣi-s, forming the foundation for all branches of knowledge.
