Lakṣmaṇa of Rāmāyana[edit]

Lakṣmaṇa is the well-known hero of the Rāmāyana. He was the younger brother of Rāma.

Lakṣmaṇa of Mahābhārata[edit]

Lakṣmaṇa is also the name of Duryodhana’s son. Even he was considered as a hero. He fought with Abhimanyu several times and was ultimately killed by him on the 13th day of the Kurukṣetra war.
