Balavikarani

Balavikarani, Balavikaranikā literally means ‘that which augments strength’.
It is one of the several aspects of the Mother Goddess whose worship will endow the votary with strength and peace. She is also classed, sometimes, among the parivāradevatās or attendant deities of the Divine Mother.
She is described as
Occasionally she is stated to be the personification of the principle of the moon (candratattva), responsible for the vigorous growth of oṣadhis or medical herbs. In this aspect, she is considered to be the consort of Mahādeva (Śiva).
